From everyone here at Lawn Seeds. We would like to give a massive round of applause to Cori ‘Coco’ Gauff on an incredible performance at Wimbledon this year. The American teenage tennis prodigy had become the youngest ever player to qualify for Wimbledons main draw. Unfortunately she lost out to Simona Halep. Who holds the No. 7 ranked women’s player, defeating her 6-3, 6-3 on Monday. Needless to say it has been an incredible achievement for young star who has a bright future ahead of her.
Born 2004 she is only 16 years old, Coco is an American tennis player and is the youngest player to be ranked in the top 100, she currently ranks number 42 in the doubles and number 49 in the singles. Cori Gauff experimented with a variety of sports as a child. She chose tennis, inspired by the Williams sisters and preferring an individual sport.
